Think about it. God created the earth, planets, solar system, all the stars. It’s amazing. I believe He followed rules of science to create all of it.

I believe He blessed us with a desire to create. Look at how children play. They use their toys to create, from a very young age. My memories of childhood include creating mud pies. In my teen years, those creating skills aided me in making real cakes for my birthday or for others in my family.

After marriage, I could not wait to create a home, a happy life, a place of peace. So, maybe there was more chaos than peace, and not always moments of happiness. But, I still had a desire to create a place we could call home.

My desire to “create” a child was strong and enduring. It took us about 6 years to conceive our daughter. She added a beautiful creative flare with her beautiful wardrobe and creative talents. She always created things or food to share with others to help brighten their day.

There have been many bonds of friendship I have created over the years. It has filled my heart with joy each time I connected with a forever friend who was placed in my life at the perfect time.

I have created meals, desserts, and treats over the years. It was the blessing of my life to be able to create my own professional photography business. To be able to help create memorable photographs of captured moments, forever frozen in time, were some of the most joyful times in my life. Enjoying the creative process and handing a finished product to a client was a dream I never knew I had.

Sewing has been a fun creative outlet for me over the years. There were those few items of clothing, many quilts and blankets. Crocheting, knitting, wood working, acrylic painting on canvas and/or rocks, have occupied my mind and hands. Most recently, ceramic painting, and playing around with watercolors have had my creative juices flowing.

Blogging, of course, is a great place to create journals, and share poetry, stories, and or life experiences. I am impressed over and over again by the creative writing skills of so many bloggers out there.

My writer friends create stories. My history-loving friends create memorable histories. My gamer friends like to create in depth cities, and places of science fiction. My musical friends like to create beautiful sounds. My camping and hiker friends create beautiful memories of the scenery they have witnessed.   

I could go on and on with all of the time we spend creating!!
